Swedish brand Deadwood was founded by Carl Ollson and Felix von Bahder, who worked together for years before deciding to take sustainable fashion to a new level. 2012 they started to experiment with recycled leather. The core of Deadwood is the contrast between a hard surface and soft values – sustainability and good working conditions for everyone in the production is a central aspect, and Deadwood doesn’t see any conflicts with this and their punk aesthetics. To revolt today is to stand up against fast fashion, mass production and distorted ideals, right?
